What this contract is for
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12444726Q0051 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Cultural Resource Surveys for Active Management on the Monongahela National Forest. The project may be located in any of the following ten county area in West Virginia. The objectives of the project shall be: (1) to locate and identify all cultural resources judged to be at least 50 years old (2) to provide a complete cultural resource inventory of the area, and (3) to make a preliminary evaluation of the significance of identified historic properties according to the National Register of Historic Places eligibility criteria. To accomplish these objectives, the Contractor shall review existing sources of information on cultural and natural resources in the project area, conduct a complete coverage field reconnaissance, analyze the results of this investigation, and prepare a cultural resource report documenting this information on cultural and natural resources in the project area, conduct a complete coverage field reconnaissance, analyze the results of this investigation, and prepare a cultural resource report documenting this information. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541720 The small business size standard is 28 million.
