What this contract is for
This is a Synopsis as required by the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 637(e)) and the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41 U.S.C. 416) and fulfills the synopsis and advertising requirements prescribed in FAR Part 5 – Publicizing Contract Actions. DLA Troop Support intends to issue a 100% Small Business Set Aside solicitation for the manufacture and delivery of NSN 3940-01-541-0894 - Multi Leg Sling. This item is fully competitive and has First Article Testing and Production Lot Testing requirements, as well as requires JCP certification.. The government plans to award a Fixed Price, Definite Quantity Contract for 2000 EA, with 50% and 100% quantity options. CLIN 0001, which will be for the 2,000 units, will have Inspection and Acceptance at Origin; only FOB Origin pricing will be acceptable for CLIN 0001. CLIN 0002, which will be the First Article, and CLIN 0003, which will be for the Production Lot Test, will have Inspection at Origin and Acceptance at Destination; only FOB Destination pricing will be acceptable for CLINs 0002 & 0003. All proposals must include a copy of a completed solicitation with pricing for the base quantity of 2000 EA, as well as quantity option pricing for 50% and 100%. Price Only source selection procedures will be utilized. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The SAM site may be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. A copy of the solicitation can be obtained through the DLA Internet Bulletin Board System (DIBBS).
