Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for the procurement of Bolt, Hex Head, P/N 55024-28-S, in support of the repair of the Side-port Door Assembly aboard a U.S.

Navy vessel.

The required hardware is manufactured from CRES 316 stainless steel and must meet the exact form, fit, and function of the existing assembly.

This requirement is sole sourced to JERED LLC (CAGE: 98523) because the required replacement parts are critical to the operational readiness and safety of the vessel.

Only JERED LLC OEM replacement parts are technically acceptable to ensure compatibility and the safe operation of the Side-port Door Assembly.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement.

Responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is appropriate.

A determination not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with RFO 12.203.

Award will be made to the offeror whose quotation is determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, considering technical acceptability (including delivery), price, and past performance, with no order of relative importance.

The Government will also evaluate price reasonableness and responsibility.

Email inquiries only.

Official solicitation and documents

The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
