Description of Use: The Lexington VA Health Care System needs 3 sterilizers for the primary SPS area at the Troy Bowling campus to reprocess reusable medical devices to support 8 operatories and 10+ surgery clinics.

Background: The existing sterilizers have reached end of life.

Sterilizers must be replaced within the existing space and with current utilities.

Technical Specifications: Equipment shall meet the following specifications brand name or equal: Can be operated and maintained within VHA Directive 1116(2) Can sterilize reusable medical devices in accordance with manufacturer s IFU and VHA Directive 1116(2).

Steam sterilizers must fit within current space requirements and utilize current facility utilities.
