The Naval Supply Systems Command NAVSUP, Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk FLCN, Pentagon Directorate is hosting a brief Virtual Industry Day on Thursday, 06 August 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST to explore innovative approaches the external community can offer and gain feedback from industry on an upcoming requirement in support of The Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA).
NETSAFA has international training sites located at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida and Naval Air station Whiting Field, Milton, Florida.
The work to be performed under this effort is anticipated to primarily occur at NETSAFA International Training Center (NITC) buildings located on NAS Pensacola and NAS Whiting Field, FL.
The contractor may temporarily be required to perform these services in various locations both CONUS and OCONUS.
The two hour event will include presenting general overview of the required services by the Government.
It will follow with any feedback industry would like to provide on a time limited basis.
It is intended this procurement will be solicited as an unrestricted, full and open competitive basis resulting in a cost-plus fixed fee task order via eligible Seaport NxG MAC holder in accordance with FAR Part 16.5.
The specific acquisition strategy has not been finalized at this time.
Please see the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) which details the types of tasks that the contractor will be required to perform under this task order.
Additionally, a formal announcement of the full details of the Virtual Industry and Submission details are attached to this Sources Sought Notice.
Official solicitation and documents
The full solicitation, any attachments, and the actual submission instructions live on the official listing, not on this page. Oppward summarizes public record data; it does not host or mirror the source documents.
Oppward is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SAM.gov or any government agency. This page is a plain-English summary of public record data; the linked source above is the authoritative listing.
How to bid on this
This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.
- Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
- Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
- This listing has no set-aside restriction ("full and open competition"), meaning any business, large or small, can bid.
- Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
