THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This sources sought is for informational purposes only and shall NOT be considered as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought or furnishing the requested information. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of a Contractor's submission of responses to this sources sought announcement. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any Contractor's input resulting from this sources sought. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. Responses to this sources sought are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This sources sought is for planning purposes only and is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC CR) has a requirement for supplies, and engineering and logistics support services in support of the life cycle sustainment of the Multi-spectral Targeting System Family of Systems (hereinafter known as MTS). The proposed contract action is for the supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Raytheon Company, 2501 W University DR Mckinney, Texas 75071-1300 (CAGE 96214).
