THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO MID-ATLANTIC INTERPRETING GROUP, INC AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER Support Services The United States Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Human Resources Directorate (HRD) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Mid-Atlantic Interpreting Group, Inc. (CAGE: 43EA3), 8174 Lark Brown RD STE 202, Elkridge, Maryland 21075-6426, for American Sign Language Interpreter Support Services. The period of performance is estimated to be for a month-month base period with a one-month option period. The Government intends to keep the period of performance as short as possible; however, use of an option may be necessary to provide maximum support services during any unforeseen events while conducting a competitive solicitation. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a). The contract is intended to continue the requirement for American Sign Language Interpreter Support Services while a new competitively awarded contract is being procured. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
