The primary scope of this project, designated as Project No. PDPG26-2400, is the safe handling, testing, transportation, and disposal of PFAS-contaminated soil resulting from the WMWD Sewer Rehabilitation Project. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to perform these services in strict accordance with Air Force technical guidelines, as well as federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Scope of Work & Key Requirements 1. On-Site Handling and Storage Stockpile Control: Contractors must implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) to prevent cross-contamination and runoff. All soil piles must be securely covered with plastic sheeting or tarps and surrounded by containment berms. Storage Limits: Non-RCRA contaminated soil may only be accumulated on-site for a maximum of 90 days. All temporary stockpiles must be placed on impermeable surfaces (such as HDPE liners) prior to transport. Air Monitoring: Continuous dust and air quality monitoring is mandatory during all excavation and loading operations. 2.
