What this contract is for

The Marine Corps Installations East (MCI-East) Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for a comprehensive, commercial Waste Management Services Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The primary objective of this acquisition is to provide reliable, environmentally compliant, and uninterrupted solid waste collection, recycling, and disposal services across designated MCI-East installations and supported facilities. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, labor, transportation, equipment, materials, and management required to execute waste management operations. This includes, but is not limited to, the provision and maintenance of collection containers, scheduled and unscheduled refuse removal, and the operation of recycling programs in accordance with applicable Federal, State, local, and Department of War (DoW) environmental regulations. Task Orders issued under this IDIQ will define specific service frequencies, container quantities, and precise locations. See attached documents for more details.

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
