What this contract is for

PRON: AX6F2445AX. The Government proposes to acquire a single-award, firm-fixed-price, one-time buy contract, for a quantity of 22 each, Bulkhead, Aircraft, NSN 1560-01-345-4800, P/N 70308-03801-116, applicable to the UH-60 Blackhawk. First Article Test (FAT) is not required. Production Lead Time is 540 Days After Contract Award (DACA). The required delivery of the Bulkhead, Aircraft is 2 per month. These items are non-commercial; FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Destination. The Bulkhead, Aircraft, P/N: 70308-03801-116 is not an aviation Critical Safety Item (CSI) as defined by DFARS 209.270-2. Currently, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main St, Stratford, CT 06614 (CAGE Code 78286) and General Electric Company, 1000 Western Ave, Lynn, MA 01905 (CAGE Code 99207) are identified as the contractors who own or have access to the technical data necessary to produce this item. The Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both needed to purchase this item from additional sources. The Government received notice from Sikorsky that it will not bid on this requirement; therefore, the Government intends to solicit this as a sole source requirement to General Electric Company. If any contractor has access to this proprietary data, please provide a capabilities statement to the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer detailing the authorization from either Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation or General Electric Company to utilize the proprietary data necessary for this requirement. All offerors must have the ability to procure the requisite proprietary data from aforementioned sources in order to be eligible for award.
