What this contract is for

This Sources Sought Notice is to research the number of large and small businesses capable and interested in the prospective procurement. The U.S. Government is seeking sources to inspect and overhaul the Antenna Assembly. Input NSN: 5985-01-670-4835 P/N: 317A840-1 Output NSN: 5985-01-670-4835 P/N: 317A840-1 Estimated Quantity (QTY) 6 Each Minimum - 14 Each Maximum Maximum QTY includes Foreign Military Sales (FMS) QTY of 2 EA. The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul. Delivery Schedule: The anticipated delivery schedule is 120 days from receipt of asset at a rate of 2 per month. Delivery Location: TBD This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded in accordance with (IAW) Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 60-month period of performance with five-priced ordering periods. The Government does NOT own the Technical Data Package (TDP) for this action. The TDP is held by Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE Code: 03640). Interested offerors responding to this notice must be able to demonstrate that they have access to the TDP or how the requirements can be accomplished without having this data available and without incurring significant additional costs. This is a sources sought notice. No contract award will result from this sources sought notice, and it does not constitute a commitment by the Government.
