This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only.
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to Allegion Access Technologies LLC, located at 65 Scott Swamp RD, Farmington, Connecticut 06032.
Services will be for one (1) base year under NAICS 811310.
The vendor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, diagnostic equipment, safety testing devices, and OEM components necessary to maintain the automatic door systems in accordance with manufacturer standards.
This action will result in a firm-fixed-price service contract.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; due to the unique characteristics needed for this service, Allegion Access Technologies LLC is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
Therefore, this service is typically procured through a Sole Source NAC Contract through VHA without competition under FAR 6.302-1.
REQUIRED SERVICES: The vendor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, diagnostic equipment, safety testing devices, and OEM components necessary to maintain the automatic door systems in accordance with manufacturer standards.
