What this contract is for
PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate and award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and RFO FAR 12.102(a), a firm fixed price purchase order to Burt Process Equipment, LLC for the purchase of specialized engineering services, maintenance, system upgrades, and parts replacement -( e.g., water filtration system maintenance) for the existing facility infrastructure system. This contract is expected to have a period of performance of sixty (60) days from the award date. This non-personal service requirement seeks a vendor that can upgrade the current Milford Laboratory heated and chilled seawater system, installed by Burt Process Equipment in by adding a Alfa Laval T6-PFG heat exchanger, Isolation Ball Valves, Temperature Control Pneumatic valve, Temperature Transmitter, Temperature and Pressure Indicators mounted on an epoxy-coated steel skid. In addition, adding (1) GF Signet Conductivity Probe, Series 2819 probe, Series 2850 electronics, (1) Series 9900 GF Signet Transmitter, Field installation of conductivity probe and Field wiring for data logger for the salinity system.
