What this contract is for

Sources Sought The Technology Application Program Office (TAPO) is conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of providing the requirement. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Objective: The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) seeks to identify potential vendors (including small businesses) to inform its acquisition strategy for a future requirement. The Government will use the information to inform acquisition planning and strategy, e.g. full and open competition, competitive small business set-side. Requirement: The Government seeks potential vendors to serve as a lead system integrator without system responsibility with the necessary capabilities to furnish engineering services, integration, procurement, and logistical support related to Launched Effects. This effort requires comprehensive program management, coordination with the industrial base, development of critical documentation, and management of government assets to ensure successful integration and fielding of Launched Effects capabilities.
