What this contract is for

DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all labor, facilities, mandatory parts, non-mandatory parts, materials, equipment, tools and data, necessary to procure the PIN Assembly Hoisting for the AH-64 Apache. NSN: 1730-01-471-3340 Part Numbers: 7-562108004-601 Estimated Quantity: 23 Minimum, 138 Maximum Critical Safety Item: No Delivery Schedule: Base Year: 23 Option Year 1: 38 Option Year 2: 38 Option Year 3: 39 Total: 138 Delivery Location: TBD The government does NOT own the technical data package (TDP) for this action. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. The rights ownership has been verified through the Project Management Office. Reverse engineering is not feasible. Currently the only known approved manufacturer for the Pin Hoist Assembly is The Boeing Company, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code: 48T42 5000 East McDowell Road Mesa, AZ 85215-9707. This acquisition is anticipated to be awarded IAW Revolutionary Federal Overhaul (RFO) Part 13, Simplified Procedures for Noncommercial Acquisitions. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a 12 month base period of performance and 3 12 month option periods. Offerors are advised: The Government fully intends to evaluate quotes and award the contract without discussions with offerors, initial quotes should be submitted containing offerors most favorable terms.
