Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic announces its intention to award a sole source contract to INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL, INC., located at 500 New Jersey Ave NW FL 6., DC, 20001-2070. This contract is for a one-year term and includes the commercial purchase of the following services: Three on-line, self-paced training courses covering the 2024 International Building Code (IBC) Significant Changes (Building Planning, Building Envelope and Construction Materials, and Accessibility) for 350 students. · Justification for Sole Source This sole source acquisition is pursued under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), as International Code Council, Inc. (ICC) is the only responsible source capable of providing the services that will satisfy the agency's requirements. The ICC is the sole developer, publisher, and owner of the International Building Code (IBC) and the exclusive provider of the official ICC certification for the 2024 IBC Significant Changes training.
