THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. This sources sought is published to secure one (1) 44-PAX bus and three (3) 14-PAX buses to transport the enrolled youth of the 773d FSS Child and Youth Program (CYP) to and from local elementary schools and the School Age Centers at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. For the 14-PAX: The requirement is based on the 2027 Blue-Bird Gas Vision (Ford Micro Bird G5/D-Series commercial bus platform) equipped with a 7.3L Gas V8 engine, 14-passenger capacity seating arrangement, dual rear wheels, rear air conditioning/heater systems, and standard safety features suited for cold-weather operations in Anchorage, Alaska. For the 44-PAX: The requirement is based on the 2027 Blue-Bird Gas Vision conventional school bus platform equipped with a 7.3L Ford Gas V8 engine, 44-passenger capacity seating arrangement with Freedman Family 3-point seatbelts, and a comprehensive winter package necessary to hold up to Alaska winters.
