What this contract is for

Amendment 0001- Dated 08 July 2026 The purpose of amendment 0001 is to answer contractors’ questions, add a site visit, and extend the solicitation closing date to July 21, 2026, 11:00 AM (PDT). All offerors must acknowledge amendment 0001. Question #1: Will there be a site visit? Answer #1: Yes, on July 14, 2026. See details below. Question #2: Is there a detailed layout drawing for the counters? This would include dimensions (LxWxH), shape (Straight, L, U, etc.), and equipment locations. Answer #2: Technical exhibit attached but Section 4.1 states that the drawings provided are "for assistance and guidance" and "extreme accuracy is not guaranteed." The contractor is required to verify all exact dimensions, locations, and levels on-site prior to bidding. CAD and shop drawings must be submitted by the contractor after contract award. Question #3: The quantities called out for the sneeze guards in 3.3 (6EA and 2E) do not match the soup well (4EA) and cold rail (4EA) quantities. Please clarify. Answer #3: This is a clear discrepancy in the SOW text. Section 2.0 lists 4 Soup Wells and 4 Cold Rails, but Section 3.3 lists 6 Soup Station sneeze guards and 2 Cold Rail sneeze guards. Correct quantity should be two (2) double sided soup well and six (6) double sided cold rails. Question #4: Do you have a spec sheet that you can provide for the custom fabricated 18' and 32’ Double Sided Salad Bars? Or should we just create a quote based on what we think will work best for you? Answer #4: Offerors/vendors should create a quote that best matches the requirement. Additionally, Section 4.1 notes that detailed "shop drawings for custom equipment will be provided after the award of the contract." ** SITE VISIT** A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 14 July 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT. How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
