Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, N.W. Colorado Fire Management Unit, Moffat County Colorado has a requirement to perform hazardous fuels reduction by mechanical mastication of pinyon pine and juniper with an estimated 628 acres with work to be performed from August 1, 2026 - December 15, 2026. The project area is approximately 21 miles southwest of Meeker, Rio Blanco County, Colorado T3S, R96W, Sec 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34. T4S, R96W, Sec. 3.
