What this contract is for

Synopsis SPE7LX26RX052 This is not a solicitation/request for proposal. The solicitation/request for proposal will be forthcoming. When issued the Solicitation/Request for Proposal can be found on the DLA Bid website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. This DLA Weapons Support (Columbus) acquisition is for the establishment of a firm-fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC), utilizing simplified commercial procedures IAW FAR 12.201-1. Contract length will include one (1) three-year base period and two (2) one-year option years for a total potential contract length of five (5) years. Option periods will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Multiple delivery orders may be written against the basic contract for a maximum of five (5) years. This acquisition includes a total of seven (7) NSNs. The solicitation will be issued as a Total 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition, IAW FAR 19.104-1. The acquisition is restricted to the following source of supply, which is the only source known to have the capability of furnishing the required supplies and the only source currently approved by the design control activity: Electrochem Solutions (12GY1) See Synopsis Attachment 1, titled NSN Information, for complete NSN info and source details. The items under this acquisition are subject to the Buy American Act. Various incremental quantities will be solicited. Deliveries will be to various DLA stocking locations within and outside of the continental United States. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of Price, Past Performance, and Proposed Delivery.
