What this contract is for
1.0 INTRODUCTION This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for F404-GE-103 engines. In accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research, AFLCMC/LPA is surveying the market for potential sources to produce F404-GE-103 engines, spare engines, and spare parts, provide a support equipment list, perform tasks for depot standup, and update Technical Data Packages (TDP). The responses will support the formulation of an acquisition strategy and whether this effort can be competitive or sole source. This Sources Sought announcement provides an opportunity for small businesses to participate. Small businesses include the following subsets: Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Certified 8(a), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone Small Business (HSB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), Historically Black College or University or Minority Institute (HBCU/MI), Indian Tribe, and Alaska Native Corporation. No set?aside decision has been made. Anticipated CLIN Structure: The Government is contemplating the use of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with Fixed Price Delivery Orders.
