What this contract is for

Fair Opportunity to Quote for the repair of NIIN 013753716. 1. Based upon competition among respondents, the government intends to make one award under this fair opportunity announcement. the Government will evaluate offers submitted in accordance with this notice and will make a determination considering the following: Respondents shall submit their offers, on or before the due date indicated on page 1 and complete the following information: Section B with firm fixed repair pricing per unit, as well as total contract price. Section F with the proposed delivery schedule. If the respondent proposes no other delivery schedule, the required delivery schedule will apply. Past Performance report, including documentation required by Section L. Award will be made to the responsible respondent submitting a technically acceptable offer that represents the best value to the Government. A technically acceptable offer is one in which the offeror complies with the instructions above and does not take exception, nor object, to any of the terms of this fair opportunity notice. Respondents that are not technically acceptable will not be considered for award. The Government will make its award decision based on a best value tradeoff decision when considering (1) past performance and (2) price. For this determination, past performance is significantly more important than price. 2. All offers shall remain valid for 45 days. 3. All units will be F.O.B. Origin. 4. All terms and conditions of the base contract shall apply to the resultant order. 5.
