What this contract is for

The purpose of this Amend 1 to this solicitation is to both clarify the requirements for the “basic operator familiarization training” and the “planned maintenance plan” (updates/changes to the SOW highlighted in yellow), and to extend the closing of the solicitation. The Minnesota Army National Guard (MNARNG) has a requirement to purchase a brand-new Large Area Rotary Mower - Front Mount w/Cab & Attachments for Camp Ripley Training Center (CRTC) in Little Falls, MN. This is a “Brand Name or Equal” acquisition. The baseline reference model is the Toro 5910 large area rotary mower. If an "equal" product is offered, it must meet or exceed the salient characteristics and minimum requirements specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Delivery shall be FOB Destination. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. An active SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule (NMR) Class Waiver is in effect for NAICS 333112. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Offerors shall submit all required documents electronically via email to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Dan Bart at [email protected]. ATTACHMENTS: - W912LM-26-Q-A014 - Large Area Rotary Mower (SF 1449) - A 02 - SOW - Large Area Rotary Mower (Statement of Work)

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
