THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division - Northeast (HCD-NE) on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Medtronic USA Inc. 710 Medtronic Pkwy, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55432-5603, CAGE 77HM9). The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. The contract is for service and support for the Medtronic StealthStation™ S8 surgical navigation system at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). The Stealth Station S8 surgical navigation system enables you to precisely track the location of surgical instruments throughout a procedure. The System is intended as an aid for precisely locating anatomical structures in either open or percutaneous procedures. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
