Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) purchase order to J&N Tactical, Inc. for the Miami SWAT DRACO Gas Delivery System.
This requirement is for the acquisition of one (1) commercially available DRACO Gas Delivery System (GDS), including required mounting hardware, installation components, wireless and mechanical firing systems, operator accessories, Train-the-Trainer certification, manufacturer's warranty, and all components necessary to install and operate the system on an FBI armored tactical vehicle.
The system provides a remotely operated capability for the deployment of approved chemical munitions and noise flash diversionary devices during high-risk tactical operations.
This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The Government does not intend to issue a competitive solicitation unless it determines, based on responses to this notice, that competition is appropriate.
In accordance with FAR 5.207(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation, which shall be considered by the agency in determining whether to proceed with the contemplated sole source award.
