What this contract is for

Update: 07/09/2026 Thank you for your interest in supporting the JTT/JTT NG program. We reviewed all vendor requests for engineering data, production information, and technical artifacts, and wanted to provide a single, consistent response for everyone. At this time, the Government does not have a complete Technical Data Package (TDP) for the JTT NG systems. Some of the documentation and software-related materials that do exist are proprietary and owned by the current OEM, which limits what we are able to share. Because of these restrictions: We cannot release any data or software that falls under restricted rights. We are unable to grant temporary engineering access beyond what the Government legally owns. Requests for the latest software builds, source code, or software tools cannot be supported, as the Government does not have releasable versions that would enable independent production. Regarding questions about production volumes, ROM development, cost details, or material lists: We cannot provide BOMs or material specifications. The Government does not have manufacturing data that would allow vendors to generate an accurate ROM. Future acquisition quantities will be shared separately once they are finalized. The Army is actively evaluating long-term options to expand competition for future JTT NG capabilities. Until releasable data becomes available or program direction changes, we encourage vendors to: Submit capability statements. Propose alternative approaches that do not rely on JTT/JTT NG proprietary data. Continue submitting questions about future competitive opportunities through the official RFI/RFP channels. _________________________________________________________________ Original: 07/06/2026 Subject: Identification of Alternate Sources for Joint Tactica...

How to bid on this

This is a contract solicitation, not a grant. To bid, you submit a proposal (usually a price and a description of how you would do the work) directly to the government, through the channel the official listing specifies, not through Oppward.

  1. Make sure your business has an active SAM.gov registration. You cannot be paid on a federal contract without one.
  2. Read the full solicitation on the official listing above, especially the scope of work, not just this summary. Our guide to reading a solicitation walks through what to look for.
  3. Check the set-aside listed above and confirm your business actually qualifies for it before you spend time on a proposal. See our guide to set-asides if the category is unfamiliar.
  4. Submit your proposal by the deadline, using the exact submission method the official listing states. A technically on-time bid sent the wrong way is often treated as late.
