What this contract is for
The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ). FLCJ intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acauisitions Prociedures to Securadyne Systems (dba Allied Universal Technology Sevices) to Acquire and Install new security equipment for the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Bldg. 845 at Eglin AFB, FL. Securadyne has contractual obligations on this base and with the buildings. They are the only compatible system for the current infrastructure, and their proprietary systems can only be serviced with their hardware and software. Parts and services provided by non-approved vendors will not be covered under warranty. The proposed action is a firm-fixed price task order. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621 and the small business size standard is $25million. Product Service Code J063, Modification of Equipment- Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. This notice of inent is for informational purposes only.
