What this contract is for

DESCRIPTION: The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island, on behalf of the Project Lead Joint Services, located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking interested Continental United States (CONUS) sources and information for the existing capability to manufacture high precision shaped charge, explosively formed penetrator (EFP), multiple explosively formed penetrator (MEFP) liners for anti-armor and anti-materiel warheads. RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS: The Government is requesting information from all interested CONUS sources having relevant capabilities fabricating anti-armor and anti-materiel liners that have high geometric tolerances and extremely high material purity. The Government is interested in information on capabilities and experience to produce shaped charge, EFP, and MEFP liners at rates between 10,000 and 100,000 per year. Respondents shall describe their prior experience, their existing facility, existing equipment and personnel. With respect to the Government’s interest in the above, to adequately assess capability, responses shall address the following specific requirements. List the specific types of liner materials manufactured and delivered, such as forging liner pre-forms or if done in coordination with other government or industry partners. Provide details of past performance within the last five (5) years, including total quantities delivered, production rates achieved, and whether your company acted as the Prime or Subcontractor. State your company’s inspection capability and past experience fielding high precision shaped charge, EFP, or MEFP liners as part of anti-armor or anti-materiel munition systems.
